This captivating vase harnesses traditional woodturning artistry to reveal an abstract and modern sculptural work of art. Fashioned of ancient oak wood, the piece is entirely handturned and finished, resulting in the highly textured surface dominated by working process traces and gradations of color shades like yellow, orange, red and balck swirling together in a dynamic vortex.

The finish was applied by hand with the shellac polishing technique
